Meet The Bald Wizard
Jonathan, A.K.A The Bald Wizard, is a lifelong enthusiast of all things techie, and showed a deep interest in computers at a very early age. He is driven by a passion for helping others understand the technology around them. Whenever the opportunity to teach computer-literacy arises, Jonathan launches into it wholeheartedly.
Spreading the Magic
The Bald Wizard's mission is to spread the magic; that is, to help others find the joy in building, maintaining, and upgrading their computer. In fact, Bald Wizard Computers was actually born from an impromptu guided build session in which this mission was on full display.
When his boss's son made the decision to buy a gaming computer, he first vouched for a major retailer. He curated the parts specifically to meet the young man's gaming needs, and suggested having the retailer build it for them. Unfortunately, when they arrived to pick it up, the retailer had made a terrible mistake: the computer was still in pieces.
He took responsibility, and in an effort to make things right, volunteered to build the PC himself. The duo took the parts home, and he immediately set about his task. It wasn't long before the boss's son was entranced by his work. Seeking to involve the young man in the process, he began teaching.
Towards the end, the teen was installing the hardware himself under the watchful eye of the Bald Wizard. The sense of accomplishment on the first startup was incredible — here was a phenomenal gaming PC, built piece-by-piece by a teen with no prior experience.
This successful lesson was the inspiration for Bald Wizard Computers, and it still fuels his passion for teaching computer-literacy. He strives to provide an entertaining yet educational experience with every build.
